I agree. I’m not fond of repeat questions, especially when there is such a lovely search bar being unused above us.

I hope you do know that this is a repeat Twilight question as well, though, making you hypocritical.

  7. Andi Says:

I think they should just make a Twilight section for all the crazies.

  8. Mee =] Says:

I don’t mind if someone asks a question about Twilight, but people are repeating the same questions about Twilight over and over again! If they used the searchbar, they could view an already answered question and get their answers there. If they can’t find the answer, THEN then can post it in B&A. Just to let you know, by posting this question you are one of those people posting unnecesary twilight questions =]

Hhha thanks for letting us rant =]

I agree with you. It’s as if Twilight should have it’s own bloody section or something. As a writer, I tend to enjoy this section if I can help out with someone’s writing or talk about a book that I enjoyed without being subjected to the same stupid tripe about a book that would never grasp my interest as a 29-year-old male. I really don’t care if these anti-Twilight questions are repeats; what’s important is that there are people out there who feel the same way I do about this whole Twilight fad.

Seriously, I don’t think people were getting this worked up about Harry Potter, and that’s largely for the elementary school crowd.

I am sooooooooo bloody tired of hearing about Edward Cullen, Jacob Black and all the rest of them on here when we could be talking about Lord of the Flies, Catcher in the Rye, The Great Gatsby, John Steinbeck, Charles Dickens, and all the other LEGITIMATE figures and works that constitute as REAL LITERATURE, including stuff that we ourselves might want to write.

To all you Twilovers, I suggest you put down Twilight and pick up a piece of real classic literature like Johnny Tremain, Across Five Aprils, Little Women, or perhaps a book by Katherine Paterson or Judy Blume. Hey, you might even enjoy The Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants if you give it a chance. If you’re so fascinated by vampires, I have two words for you: ANNE RICE. Or try the more classical Dracula. For romance, try books by Sarah Dessen. Quit obsessing over something that will definitely make the “Overrated in ‘08″ list, and focus on something that your parents may actually approve of.
